Remembering Paradise: Souvenires of Historic Florida Attactions exhibit image

What did you bring me? Did you bring me a souvenir from Florida?"

Florida vacations and souvenirs go together just like Florida sunshine and sandy, white beaches. Tourists have purchased untold numbers of Florida souvenirs throughout the years, reflecting the history and culture that is uniquely Florida. In partnership with VISIT FLORIDA, these one-of-a kind travel treasures are now on display at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum. The extensive collection includes Florida souvenirs ranging from a collectible cowboy tin cup from Six-Gun Territory to a Miami Seaquarium Flipper Lunch box and some rare Walt Disney World memorabilia.

The exhibit is free and open to the public and will run from April 12 through December 5, 2011.

In partnership with VISIT FLORIDA, a sneak preview and opening reception was held on April 12, 2011 at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum.
